Quality Control

End-to-End Quality

Quality is built into every production decision

At Z.E.N TEX, quality control is built into the production process from the first prepared yarn package to the final packed cone. Our laboratory supports colour reliability, stable performance, and a finished result that matches the technical and visual needs of each order.

Through controlled testing, sample evaluation, and detailed visual inspection, our team reviews yarn quality at key production stages. From shade development and rubbing resistance to yarn appearance and final batch release, each check supports yarn readiness for weaving, knitting, and premium textile applications.

Controlled Testing

Every batch is reviewed through defined and measurable test procedures.

Final Quality Review

Finished yarn is released only after a thorough final quality review.

Consistent Results

Reliable colour, strong performance, and finishes you can trust.

Reliable Performance

Yarn that performs consistently from development to delivery.

Our Laboratory

Testing at Every Stage

Clear, controlled checks support quality from the first sample through final batch approval.

Instrumental Colour Control

Colour Measurement & Shade Matching

We compare yarn shades against approved references using instrumental colour measurement and visual assessment. This helps us control shade consistency, evaluate colour variation, and achieve a result that aligns with the customer’s required tone.

Crocking Test

Colour Fastness to Rubbing

Yarn samples are tested for colour transfer under controlled rubbing conditions. This helps assess how well the dyed yarn maintains its colour during handling, processing, and use in the finished textile.

Performance Testing

Yarn Strength & Elongation

Where required by the product specification, yarn samples are evaluated for strength and elongation. These checks help confirm that the yarn can perform reliably during weaving, knitting, and downstream textile production.

Visual Quality Review

Yarn Appearance & Surface Inspection

Our team examines yarn appearance, surface smoothness, uniformity, visible irregularities, and package presentation. This allows us to identify issues before the yarn moves to final approval and packing.

Sample Development

Laboratory Dyeing & Recipe Validation

Before large-scale production, laboratory trials can be used to develop or validate colour recipes. These controlled samples help confirm colour build-up, shade direction, and expected production results.

Pre-Shipment Release

Final Batch Approval

Before packing and dispatch, finished yarn is reviewed against the order requirements. This final stage brings together colour, appearance, package quality, and relevant test results before the batch is approved for delivery.
